Sa wa di kap! Bangkok trip Nov 26-29, 2007 (Pt. 2)

Research on Bangkok was done online. I referred to www.cari.com.my traveling thread for info on accommodation, halal restaurants, shopping malls etc. Alhamdulillah the trip went smoothly as planned.

Menam Chao Phraya river cruise was OK but not up to my expectation. We almost get cheated by the boat person in term of the boat fees. Keadaan overall sungai pun x berapa bersih. Obviously, "kempen cintai lah sungai kita" nampaknya mmg tak de di sana.. ;P

Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo pun biasa2 je..Elephant show mmg best coz gajah2 tu sumer main bola sepak & show ala2 gajah di medan perang. Ada gak sesi gajah melukis dgn belalai yg sungguh abstract hasilnya. Overall zoo tu biasa je laa..x lah se gah mana.

Calypso show sgt best!!! They were all good actress eh actors!!! eh konpius sungguh lah nak category kan mereka ni..under the spot light, mmg muka depa flawless!!! nmpk lemah gemalai menari segala..tp bila tgk face to face and salam tgn depa, mak aiiii....kasarnya tangan!!!terus teringat kat kulit gajah2 kat samphran zoo ;p

The two restaurants mmg best!! Harga pun reasonable. So if u r going to Bangkok soon, jgn lupa cari kedai2 ni ok..

First Hotel, Putchburi Road, Bangkok (Walking distance to Pratunam Mall for shopping).
7 Eleven is just across the road.

Halal restaurants:
1. Restoran Mak Yah (walking distance from hotel..tp jauh gak sebenarnya ;p )
2. Phraya Restaurant (A bit pricy. Dikir barat show available. Quality food & services. A few
staff were fluent in Malay.

Activities:
1. Shopping ;p
2. Menam Chao Phraya river cruise + mini floating market
3. Visit Rivercity
4. Samphran Elephant Ground & Zoo (quite far from hotel)
5. Callypso Show (fantastic & very entertaining!)
6. Body & foot massage



Must experience the tut-tut ride a.k.a fast & furious roller coaster!!!!
