Final Day Beraya di "PERTH"rantauan (Part 4)

Final day was dedicated for city tour + cruise trip + shopping... a bit! Ok kali ni btol2 serious, mmg sgt sikit sgt shopping! Started the day by taking the FREE city bus to the jetty. Took Captain Cook's cruise to Fremantle. Pasar souvenirs tutup, so basically saja le lepas gian coz x dpt naik cruise earlier. :(



Best jugak lah view dia..tp tak le se best kalo dpt tgk whale, dolphin & penguin kan? huhuhuhu!


Activity dlm boat ni as usual sembang2, berangan2 next trip nak gi mana etc.

Mahkamah ni dekat sgt dgn our hotel..Sungguh le lengang & sunyi sepi. Perth sgt aman! Tak de crime gamaknya..


Our room kat Travelodge Hotel yg luas, selesa & modern concept. Ini suasana sebelum bilik itu dijahanamkan oleh the 3 of us! Didn't dare to snap the pic after staying there for 3 nights! Sekian, terima kasih.


Another hotel. Tempat parents tidur. Sesuailah utk depa coz hotel ni lebih traditional sedikit ambiance nya.

We checked out about 2.30am as the shuttle picked us up at 3am. Ok sgt punctual! Sgt2 punctual! Bravo!

Overall impression of Perth:

1. People there r very2 friendly & helpful! very!!!
2. Services sgt tip top!
3. Perth city sgt bersih.
4. Perth city sgt aman walaupun ada ramai je pekerja asing.
5. Sumer org yg layak, byr cukai as required coz enforcement sgt bagus. So byk free facilities
provided by the government.


Would u like to visit Perth again in the future?
InsyaAllah kalau ada rezeki lebih nnt, I would really love to come back! Amin.

Beraya di "PERTH"rantauan (Part 3)

Dah lama sgt teringin nak jumpa kangaroo! On the 3rd day of the trip, we managed to materialize it! Mereka ni sgt comel melompat2 mcm ada built in spring dlm badan! :)

Selepas kami enjoyed the scenery kat beach on the 1st day and then pi sand boarding and pegi terjah national park on the 2nd day, the theme for the third day was "Getting-friendly-with-the-animals!"..Hahahaha i nervous u ols bila nak pegi tempat2 yg banyak animals ni!! Geli!!



Hari ketiga kami ke Caversham Wild Life Park utk mencari kangaroo and koala bear! Tak jauh sgt from Perth tp ala2 sesat jugaklah! Dalam 45mins- 1 hour driving tp kami kan kaki sesat, so it took us longer time to arrive lah. This is a private park. Entrance AUD22 per person.

As usual, kami sesat-barat!! (x tau lah wujud ke tak term sesat-barat tu dlm kamus dewan?) Kelakar gak masa duk sibuk berenti merata tempat tanya org direction to this place, sampai terjumpa ala2 geng pengasas park ni sendiri!! "U won't miss it coz the signage is humungous!!!" Kata pakcik tua yg friendly & kelakar itu sambil lukis2 direction atas tanah guna kayu. Sah2 aku singgah kat umah dia time dia tgh berkebun! :)





Sengaja pilih kangaroo yg petite2 ala2 toddler kerana geli! Ini lah dilemma yg harus dihadapi oleh seorg not-so-animal-friendly-person spt aku! :(

Ini pun setelah beberapa attempts utk mendekati bapak & mak kangaroo gagal! Fear factor btol!


Walaupun rambut nya serabut, tp ia sgt kiut!



Cik Koala yg pemalu ni sgt sensitif! Super sensitif! Nak sentuh pun kena guna blkg tapak tangan sahaja ok. Kat park ni, tourists are not allowed utk dukung the koala.. Lagi satu, koala ni keje nya tido je berjam2 sehari (23 jam tido ok!) dan hanya bangun utk makan sahaja! Untung jd koala, rutin mcm tu pun x brp nak gemuk! huh!

Ada lg pantang larang ok. We were not allowed to touch the leaves coz once we touched it, koala tu x kan makan daun2 tu sumer..eeeiiiii mengada2!!!

Whatever it is, mmg awak sgt comel lah cik koala! Rasa nak culik sekor bawak balik Msia..




Park ni agak luas. Ada animal shows and mcm2 jenis haiwan. Jenuh jugaklah nak cover semua tempat. To those yg nak dtg with the kids, it is encouraged for you to visit this park. Mesti kids sumer enjoy sakan! Sedangkan kami pun excited, apalagi diaorg kan? Tp sila lah seludup sandwich ke apa2 bekalan yg patut kerana pasti nya episode kebulur akan ada setelah meredah segala pelusuk park.




Sempat posing dgn kangaroos yg duk lepak sun-bathing! Diam2 dlm hati berfikir, ya Allah, kalau lah tiba2 depa ni sumer bangun and melompat2, celah mana aku nak larik?????



For late lunch, kami pegi to one of the malay restaurants kat Perth. Apa namanya ek? Oh yes, Insan's cafe, located kat block kedai2 behind Criterion hotel. I have to double check on this. Ada nasi berlauk and aneka nasi goreng kat restaurant ni. Mat salleh and those african ppl pun suka makan nasi berlauk u ols! Harga of course mahal. Tapi nak wat camana, kalau dah teringin nasi, kita pejam mata aje lah byr ye. ;p



Sempat menjamu mata kat F.O. ni jap on the way back from the park.

Beraya di "PERTH"rantauan (Part 2)

Second day (13/9/2009), kami perlu travel dlm 500km (pegi balik) up north! Ya mmg trip organizer ini (aku le tuh!) gila. But I don't care, alang2 dah smp Perth, kita harus cover segala pelusuk! Maka perlu lah rent a car utk pastikan mission 2nd day ini berjaya.

Our agenda for 2nd day was driving up north to Lancelin (for sand boarding) and Pinnacles (Nambung National Park). First we rented a Kia Carnival from M2000 company. Met another Indonesian guy who is working there as part time staff.. namanya Ryan..mula2 ngak ngomong dari Indon..slang nya bukan main power lagik..last2 katanya dari Jakarta..laaaaaaaaaaa berbuih le mulut speaking..pastu terus saja dipanggil MAS RYAN.. (Stylo kan rambut Mas Ryan! ;p )





Cost utk rent kete ni AUD126/ day. Unlimited km.Ok lah boleh muat max 7 pax. Maka bila urusan dah selesai, joms lah semua kita sumbatkan diri ke dlm kete ni. Segala mcm bekalan kitaorg bawak tuh..Air, sandwich telur buatan sendiri (jgn tanyalah camana kitaorg rebus telur dlm hotel!! ahaks!) etc.

Since I was the co-pilot (yes!! saya mmg co-pilot! Korang semua bukan rabun / salah baca! ;p ), saya dpt duduk selesa kat depan, next to the driver. Yeay!!

Kepada yg btol2 mengenali saya, sila jgn hantuk kepala ke dinding coz ala2 x boleh terima hakikat yg saya lah the co-pilot ye! Actually, saya pun ala2 masuk rancangan Believe it or Not jugak!!! hahhahahaha..



Perjalanan utk keluar dari bandar Perth tu agak kelakar gak coz we ended up berpusing2 dan kembali ke tempat yg sama!! Adoiii... camano nak kuor ke highway ni?? Tp berkat kesabaran & semangat jati diri yg kental, berjaya gak akhirnya.. Once u dah masuk highway, x perlu risau laa..x de simpang2 sgt..pendek kata terrruussssss je!


Akhirnya, Tarraaaa!!! This is Lancelin..padang pasir putih yg bersempadankan laut and langit biru! Ajaib sungguh ciptaan Allah! Mmg nmpk panas terik tp sbnarnya pasir tu sejuk giler!!! We ols pegi sana on Monday so lengang laa.. best giler! This is totally something different for us. It is all worth it!




This scenery is one of my fav..when white sandy desert meets the baby blue sky!




Our parents! Ni geng2 travel nie..hope nnt dah tua2, dah pencen boleh jadi like them. InsyaAllah.



My uncle, who was the driver, mmg sgt degil and adventurous and a risk taker. Kitaorg tahu kete tu x sesuai nak dibawak meredah padang pasir..bukan nya 4WD. Tp diredahkan jugak smp tersangkut tayar! Ye, kami mmg suka buat scene to spice up our trip!!! ;p



Nasib baik lah mat saleh duaorg ni sgt lah helpful! Beria2 diaorg tolong smp kete ok semula..Sgt terhutang budi. Kalau tak, jwbnya tido lah kami di padang pasir..nak sgt jadi musafir di aidilfitri kan?

Our next destination was Nambung National Park.. about 180km from Lancelin! Perjalanan sgt merisaukan kerana sgt jauh and sgt hulu ok tempat ni! Hampir2 putus asa esp bila my mom dok ajak balik coz jalan nya ala2 endless!! Dah la kereta x byk..R&R sgt daif. Huh mmg it was an achievement!!

Tapi knowing me, if i were given a task, mmg aku akan buat smp ke akar umbi! We must go to the National Park! Abah aku cakap, ya Allah siksa nya nak pegi tgk batu2!!! ;p

Managed to reach the park at 5.30pm! Just on time for the sunset..Since we were late, we got to enter for free!! No one was at the guard house. (Entrance fees: AUD11 per car). Ada hikmah nya smp lambat! Our target was to catch the sunset yg sgt cantik kat sini! Alhamdulillah, hajat termakbul.



Apa yg menarik sgt tempat ni?
This area dulu lautan..then akibat earthquake, kawasan ni jd kering kontang ..maka terbentuk lah monument2 batu ni sumer yg dipanggil pinnacles. I read on the net that there are many unique stone monuments available such as stones that look like turtle, kangaroo etc..but unfortunately we were unable to locate them. Apa2 pun, sgt kagum dgn kuasa & ciptaan Allah.




Musafir di Aidilfitri ke Lancelin and Pinnacles National Park. Sunset nya sgt cantik tp sgt sekejap. So happy that i got to experience this myself after reading lots and lots of reviews and looking at other people's pics on the net! Alhamdulillah..

Kami meredah pulang ke Perth dlm suasana penuh suspens..Jalan tgh2 mlm, x de lampu jalan. Kawasan perdalaman yg dipenuhi lori2 laju yg panjang. After a few hours of driving baru jumpa petrol station. Most of the petrol station plak kecik2 x de ala2 kedai mcm Mesra / On the run! Mmg satu hari suntuk kami x makan proper..kebuluran nya x pyh kata lah!

Tapi this was what we want. Kami nak kan satu pengalaman yg tak mungkin kami lupakan. :)

The last time that I celebrated raya in oversea was waaaaayyy back in 1997. Masa tu celebrated raya with friends kat Miami. Tapi in 2010, another new experience was documented. I celebrated raya in Perth! However, this was more special coz I got to be down there with parents, Acu, Uncle, Abby & PCY! Best!!! Konsep raya di PERTHrantauan ni tidak memerlukan baju raya sama tema ok!


Personally this trip was very important to me bocz I was assigned to be in charged of the tour program. Hmmm.. love the challenge so much, as such, I enjoyed doing the research on Perth for about two months plus!

Maka bermula lah episod online research yg sangat gala lg extensive mcm nak buat thesis PHD! My suggestions: Silalah baca forum cari.com and tripadvisor.com coz mmg sgt membantu! Visit jugak official site for Western Australian tour. On top of that, sila lah belajar menjadi stalker kepada blog2 yg berkaitan & tgk apa2 program tv yg cover psl Perth! Sila familarize dgn peta Perth, fahamkan the routes of the train, take note of tempat makan halal & harga, etc. Biar sampai mengigau pun tak pe, janji well prepared!

I hope one day I can write a travel book! Ok part ni mmg perasan + berangan + tak sedar diri mode abis!! Ko nak hapdet blog ni pun punyalah lembab, ada hati nak tulis buku????!!! *Slap the face!

The journey was 5 hours. Lenguh gak le naik flight. Arrived in Perth as early as 5.30am. Cuaca masa pagi tu dlm 12 celcius, maka agak kebekuan jugaklah kan! Dalam internet cakap 22 celcius ok! Moral of the story, jgn percaya info kat internet 100%.

Semasa di airport kitaorg just grabbed segala brochure pasal Perth yg tersedia kat airport and took a maxi taxi (taxi ala2 van besar) to the Criterion Hotel, Hay Street.


Kitaorg terpaksa booking 2 hotels yg agak jauh (dlm 300m - walking distance) coz x cukup bilik..Criterion hotel ala2 hotel lama and the next hotel, Travelodge tu hotel moden. So setakat tumpang letak brg2 je kat hotel (coz check in pukul 2pm), kitaorg meredah bandar Perth yg sunyi sepi mencari Perth train station. Tiket ketapi ni ada day pass yg membolehkan kita pegi ke mana2 kita suka utk sehari suntuk! Best!

Utk ke Fremantle, kami naik train arah Fremantle Line. Memandangkan hari masih awal pagi, train mmg kosong. Kami sekeluarga conquered 1 coach. Ada gak feeling2 tu macam private train!

* Ok slap the face lagi sekali! Ko ingat ko anak Sultan Brunei???

Fremantle station merupakan station terakhir, so puas jugak lah tgk scenery sepjg perjalanan. Ada a few ways utk ke Fremantle. Train, kereta, bas or even cruise!


Banyak tempat2 menarik yg ada di Fremantle Harbor ni. Ada lighthouse, prison, museum, roundhouse, of course pelabuhan, pasar souvenirs and paling nak pegi sgt, org kata kat sini ada fish and chips paling sedap dlm dunia!! Mesti rasa! Ada 2 restaurants fish and chips yg famos kat sini: Kaili's & Cicerello's. Kitaorg makan kat Cicerello's mmg puas hati lah! Fish and chips paling sedap dlm dunia! Pas dah balik Msia, baru dpt tahu yg Kaili's ni ada sijil halal. Tp the local people recommended Cicerello's. Tak sempat plak nk snap pic makanan coz ala2 kebuluran tak makan since tgh malam!


Dan kitaorg first time dpt jumpa face-to-face ala2 upclose and personal lagi dgn burung Pelican!! Besar burung ni! Selalu nmpk dlm kartun, burung ni akan bawak buaian baby guna paruh dia ;p

Kedai2 ala pasar souvenirs kat Fremantle ni cuma dibuka pada hari Jumaat, Sabtu & Ahad je..so pls take note of this semasa membuat itinerary visit ok. Brg2 souvenirs kat sini ada mcm2 jenis and murah2! Especially kat kedai Aussin, kedai sorang wanita Indon yg mmg glamor dalam cari.com forum.


Plan utk naik cruise Oceanic terbantut coz whales hanya akan available after 18 Sept! Perrghhh lama plak whales ni sumer cuti raya! Maka, we've decided to go to Rockingham..hoping to catch the cruise to watch penguins and dolphins. Masa ni, sebagai trip organizer, aku mmg frust sket laaa.. So next time, sesapa nak pegi naik cruise, final find out about the schedule ok.


Frust punya pasal, kami terus ke Rockingham to catch another cruise utk tgk penguins and dolphins plak. Instead of taking the train, we were advised by sorang uncle yg keje kat train station tu to take the bus #99.. punyalah baik that uncle!!! siap kunci pintu office utk tunggu we all naik bas!! sumpah x jumpa pekerja keretapi sebaik dia kat msia! bravo uncle!! Malangnya kami terlepas cruise. Ok kali ni mmg frust tahap menonggeng! Down giler perasaan masa ni!

Pastu semua dah kepenatan, maka naik lah bas balik ke Hay Street. Terus serang kedai Ole2 utk makan. Sedap gila nasi goreng pedas and mee goreng pedas! Tapi mahal lah kan..sekali makan sorang dlm RM30! Nak buat mcmana, dah nak sgt beraya di PERTHrantauan!
